ABSTRACT
Trauma surgeon sustains an enormous responsibility exercising the leadership at the operating room, searching to institute «order within the chaos». Pertinent exercise of authority through integrity of professional performance, ability for communication, alignment of efforts and moral support lead to trauma team to the better possible results, promoting an improvement in outcomes for the surgical trauma patient.
