Chemotherapy pre and postoperative in rhabdomiosarcoma. Preliminary report

ABSTRACT

The most common soft-tissue sarcoma in children, is the rhabdomiosarcoma and despite a lot of techniques of treatment incorporating surgery, chemotherapy and radiation therapy the outcome for patients with metastatic tumors, remains incertanly. The authors report a 3 months old female with rhabdomiosarcoma in the left femur who was treated with chemoterapy previous surgery and then, left femoral resection and left tibial trasplantation to the resected femur also chemotherapy after surgery.
