ABSTRACT
Objective: to evaluate the impact of histoteca taking into account the grade of satisfaction and the academicians

Materials and methods: a descriptive study was carried out in the Latin American Medicine School to the
419 students who visited the histoteca in the period from September 2016 to January 2018, the sample was
of 103 students, after chosing the one who visited it frequently. All the histological preparations available were
reviewed, the photos of digital plating and the micro photos were verified. A survey was applied to the selected
sample the its academic results were validated in the subject Cell, tissues and tegumentary system.
Results: the satisfaction grade was of 4,49. The academic results of the chosen students in relation to the
subject Cell, tissues and tegumentary system was the predominance of good and excellent to the 88%.
Conclusions: the state and working of the histoteca is optimum to offer services to support the aca-demic and
