ABSTRACT
Mixed onychomycosis are nail infections caused by two or
more fungal agents, dermatophytes, yeasts or non-dermatophyte
molds. We report an 83-year-old male with a 30 years
history with a mixed onychomycosis caused by
Trichophyton rubrum,
Fusarium sp. and
Candida albicans. Treated with itraconazole
pulses therapy for three months and topical ciclopirox. The real
frequency of these mixed onychomycosis is uncertain.
