ABSTRACT
Cutaneous tuberculosis is a rare entity, the incidence has been increasing in recent years. The colicuative form or scrofuloderma is an endogenous infection caused by M. tuberculosis or M. bovis. Its clinical presentation is characterized by nodules, sinus tracts, purulent exudate and scarring, causing deformity. Histopathology shows a tuberculoid granuloma formed by an accumulation of epithelioid cells surrounded by lymphocytes, and presence of central necrosis. The treatment consists in a combination of four antituberculous drugs.REFERENCES
