ABSTRACT
Atypical mycobacterias are a group of free life, opportunistic
and environmental bacterias, with a wide geographical distribution.
It affects humans, domestic and wild animals, fish and
birds causing from superficial skin infections to systemic dissemination.
We present a 35 year-old male with an atypical
sporotrichosis-like mycobacteriosis in the upper limb due to
M.
abscessus.
