ABSTRACT
Scientific and technological improvements have allowed patients suffering from thoracic-abdominal aneurysm to be offered an alternative treatment in hemodynamics rooms. This can be done through the implantation of a thoracic-abdominal endoprosthesis, this way preventing them from the risk of a major surgery in order to replace the affected zone. In order to develop this procedure, there must be the participation of clinical physicians, interventionist doctors, surgeons, anesthesiologists, specialized nurses, and X-ray technicians. Being a high-risk surgical-interventionist procedure, it requires from the nurse to count on a specific tool guiding her/his interventions in order to accomplish an optimum result in time and use of resources.REFERENCES
