ABSTRACT
Introduction: the reproductive risk is the probability that a woman or her product has, of suffering damage, injury or death during the process of reproduction. It applies to women of reproductive age, between 15 and 49 years.Objective: to identify the biosipcosocial factors associated with preconceptional reproductive risk in the Niquero 18 office during the period from September 2018 to February 2019.
Method: a descriptive cross-sectional study was carried out with a sample of 126 dispenzarisadas women as a preconceptional risk, chosen intentionally. The information was obtained through the survey and the individual medical records of the patients. The data was processed in numbers and percent.
Results: predominantly women under 20 years, high presence of toxic habits with coffee consumption being the most frequent, the personal pathological background most referred were bronchial asthma followed by arterial hypertension and within the unfavorable obstetric history gravidarum hypertension and low birth weight constituted the most frequent.
Conclusions: the most frequent risks associated with preconceptional reproductive risk were identified, which will allow us to draw up health strategies to reduce maternal and infant morbidity and mortality.
