Life quality of nurses in a third level hospital in Mexico City

ABSTRACT
The object of the study is to analyze the quality of life that has the nurses in National Medical Center of 20 of November of the Institute of Security and Social Services of the Workers of the State. The measured variable was quality of life, through dimensions and dedicated displays. Method: An investigation was made diagnoses, analytical, descriptive and cross-sectional, in a sample of 456 professionals of infirmary who represent the 37.81% of the universe and the 62.46% of the population; attitudes of the personnel of infirmary around the quality of life visualized, obtained oral testimonies and it was applied of a questionnaire with an item by each indicator and five options of answer in each one, using the Likert system, and the descriptive statistic for the analysis of the data was applied. Results: Of the total of studied professionals of infirmary, the 74.65% have good sense of humor, the 86.54% have good level of confidence in themselves, the 51.36% count on level adapted to since they carry out, the attitude is positive in 79.00%, the 78.77% present/display high self-esteem, the 69.41% enjoy good health, the 78.09% enjoy inner peace, the satisfaction in the work is of the 79.23% and 75.34% have good deal with their family and good familiar relations. Conclusion: The nurses of this Institution have medium quality of life since they conserve social, physical, mental, professional and familiar the area in the heat of development and growth.REFERENCES
