Epidemiological characterization of pregnant women seropositive to HIV Granma Province. Year 1986-2017

ABSTRACT
An observational study of the prevalence of HIV-positive pregnant women is conducted. Granma Province. Year 1986-2017 with the aim of describing epidemiological characteristics of these patients. Methods were used: statistical, theoretical, empirical, for the description of the data, techniques were used descriptive statistics for the processing and presentation of information. Pregnant women with 20-34 years of age accounted for 68.8%, basic secondary schooling in 48.4%. Housewives predominated with 64.1, Bayamo% and municipalities with 34.4%, Manzanillo with 26.6% and nickel with 7.8%; The 2013 with more cases. In 1997 AIDS debuted the first cases up to a total of 15 in the series. 79.1% of pregnancies had early capture and increased weight of dystocic deliveries or caesarean section in 39 Women for 61.0%.
