Level of treatment cooperation on dentofacial anomalies in scholars

ABSTRACT
Introduction. The request of orthodontic treatment increases every day, the patient’s behavior and the factors that affecting the dentofacial anomalies treatment cooperation are important things to take into account.
Methods. A descriptive study of transversal cutting was done in an universe of 160 scholars between 7-14 years old belonging to schools that received treatment in orthodontic department of H and 21 dental clinic Plaza of Revolution municipality in the period September 2014.to March 2016.
Results. The 52.5% of scholars were non cooperative to dentofacial anomalies treatment, 57,9% of them had 12-14 years of age and 60,3% were the male gender.
Conclusions. The level of cooperation of dentofacial anomalies’ treatment was low.
