ABSTRACT
The new millennium has brought information and communication technologies closer to Cuban classrooms. The computer- assisted learning supported by available resources on the network for free and the technological aids, already handled by the students, constitutes a revolution in the education branch, particularly in the medical sciences universities. However, its better use depends on the computing culture of teachers and a new style in the way of guiding and driving the learning process. Involving students and health professionals in the training processes that arise with the use of these technologies is a challenge and the way to success. It is the objective of the authors to comment on their ideas about the novel and stimulating when applied to teaching and provide information on some of the resources available for this.REFERENCES
