ABSTRACT
A historical review was made in the Services of Central Intensive Medical Care and the following specialties: Neurology, Pneumatology, Oncology, Pediatric, Infectology, Gynecology and Obstetrics, and Cardiology, at the General Hospital of Mexico, from the years of its creation 1962, to the year 2005. The names of the Physicians involved in the creation and installation of the different services was mentioned and, its locations and finally the present condition of the services was stated, that give care and attention to patients in critical state in the General Hospital of Mexico.
