ABSTRACT
General Pediatrics includes all diseases of medico surgical pathology and of specialties shown by patients in the different pediatrics ages from birth to grown up and development which in average is presented between 18 to 20 years old. This section of Continuous Medical Education enters upon matters of interest to the physician dealing with children as: 1) Precocious weaning as a risk factor of acute appendicitis in children calling alert to the physician upon the great importance that has the maternal breast nutrition during the early months of life. 2) The one dealing with fecal waste in stable children having short bowel and the nutrition scheme required by those children. 3) Appendicitis in a feminine suckling baby about two months old with permeable peritoneum-vaginal duct making evident the uncommonness of this entity but in which wouldn´n be rare to find another pathology accompanying, so the diagnosis is done during a surgical procedure. 4) The one calling the attention upon the strategy in order to prevent the child treat ill, problem that should be call as an endemic all around the word. 5) The one giving information about gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and the dilemma that could be the same in children than in adults.
