ABSTRACT
Low back pain is one of the most frequent pathologies
during pregnancy. This is explained by the wide range
of physical, physiological and hormonal changes that
women experience when they harbor the product of
conception.
Due to the impact on the quality of life and economy,
in recent years there has been a significant increase
in research on this pathology, which allows a more
precocious diagnosis and also offer pregnant women
a better approach.
It has been shown that preventive measures in
pregnant women have a great influence, as well as the
correction of posture, body support and other habits
promote a more ergonomic lifestyle to the pregnant
woman. However, the multiple conservative and
pharmacological therapeutic measures are able to
offer relief for the pregnant patient and for a positive
impact on their quality of life.
