ABSTRACT
Venous thrombosis after implantation of a pacemaker (PM) is common, however, the identification of an intracardiac thrombus related to an electrode of a permanent pacemaker it is extremely infrequent. In the next work, we present a clinical case of a 68-year-old man who has been definitive ventricular (VVI) pacemaker by atrial fibrillation (AF) with slow ventricular response, in which in the echocardiographic study two intracavitary masses are observed in right atrium, so we suspect intracavitary thrombi, which are confirmed after surgical exceresis. Secondary by first possibility to AF with slow ventricular response and the presence of the pacemaker electrode.
