Results of the evaluation of 45 patients with contact dermatitis in lower limbs, studied during a period of 14 months at Centro Dermatológico Pascua

ABSTRACT
It presents, an evaluation of 45 patients with Contact Dermatitis in lower limbs associated to stasis dermatitis, those patients were study during a period of 14 months in the medical service of Contact Dermatitis at Centro Dermatológico Pascua. The wrong clinical evaluation of stasis dermatitis, could indicate an allergic process attached, that’s why is convenient to apply patch test to complete the study of this patients. This contact allergy is frequent, we found it in 71% of the cases studied. The allergens which produces an allergic process in most of the cases are lanoline, neomycin and benzoil peroxide.
