Discoid lupus erythematosus

ABSTRACT

Discoid lupus erythematosus is a chronic, autoimmune skin disease characterized by well-defined, erythematosus, scaly patches most frequently involving the face and othe sun-exposed areas including the scalp, neck and ears. We report the case of a patient of 63 years with discoid lupus erythematosus and cicatricial alopecia.
