ABSTRACT
The sign of Leser-Trélat is a cutaneous paraneoplastic syndrome; it is an explosive dermatosis (seborrheic keratosis) associated with occult malignancy. Male 67, started with dyspepsia, aerophagia and reflux, weight loss. Physical examination with brown keratotic neoformations, in thorax and abdomen. In the endoscopy was found a gastric adenocarcinoma. PET/CT with liver metastases. Esophagogastrectomy was performed with esophagogastric anastomosis. The pathophysiology is presumed by growth factors produced by the tumor. Survival depends on the type and stage of the primary tumor. When this sign is found, the intentional search for occult neoplasia is recommended.
