ABSTRACT
The amniotic fluid is a fundamental element in the growth and development of the pregnancy, during the second trimester, its principal component is the fetal urine and the volume varies according to the gestational age. The oligohydramnios is the finding of low levels of amniotic fluid, it’s related with an increase in the perinatal morbimortality, its main probable causes are hypovolemia and hypertension. Patophysiologically it is thought to be the result of placental insufficiency because of decrease in the blood flow of the placenta and secondary fetal hypovolemia. There is no specific treatment for oigohydramnios and the treatment plan is decided having in consideration the gestacional age.We present the case of a multigestic patient, with a pregnancy in the second trimester coursing with anemia and hypovolemia with repercussions in hemodynamics and causing oligohydramnios, treatment is given infusing cuality volume achieving in improving the levels of hemoglobin and blood pressure levels, being reflectd with an increase in the cuantification of amniotic fluid.
