ABSTRACT
Fournier's Gangrene is the bacterial spread in the perineal and perianal region that compromises deep tissues and
occurs in individuals who have some immunomodulation status. It has a high morbidity and mortality rate, and
timely treatment affects its prognosis. There are few reported cases associated with rectal perforation due to malignant
neoplasia. Two cases of this entity are described in individuals with rectal cancer. Its evolution is described, along with a
brief review of the literature.
