ABSTRACT
Impacted maxillary canines are very frequently pathologies in dental practice. Different surgical techniques have been described, the first one expose surgically the impacted canine and subsequent orthodontic treatment, as well as surgical removal of the impacted canine. However it can represent a real challenge when the patient It is not a candidate for orthodontic treatment or surgical removal. Currently it has been shown that dental implants can be placed to restore masticatory and aesthetic function in patients with asymptomatic impacted canines without invasive surgical removal of the tooth. This case report will show the sequence and decision making of a female patient who will be rehabilitated with a hybrid prosthesis, supported by four implants in the presence of an impacted canine. The aim of this case report is to describe the restorative alternatives in a patient with impacted canine and it is intended to rehabilitate with prostheses on dental implants and periodontally compromised.
