ABSTRACT
Non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas are a group of malignant lymphoid histogenesis malignancies with variable biological location and behavior. At the level of the breast NHL represents between 0.004 and 0.5% of breast cancers, and less than 0.5% of total NHL; constitute between 1.7 and 2.2% of the extraganglionic NHL. Most are of the B-cell type. Radiologically it is indistinguishable from ductal carcinoma or an infection with lymphatic hyperplasia. Treatment is usually a combination of surgery, chemo and radiotherapy. However the treatment is not clear and currently the immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies is under investigation. We present the case of a 53-year-old patient with 7 cm tumor autodetection in the right breast and ipsilateral axillary conglomerate with histopathological report of diffuse B-cell non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. She was treated with multimodal treatment with induction chemotherapy, surgery and radiotherapy.
