A survey designed for the purpose was carried out with qualitative variables that were summarized by descriptive statistics. Results: The level of general knowledge about aspects related to alcohol consumption was adequate in 64 adolescents (80.1%). The analysis of the level of knowledge according to the topics showed a predominance of the evaluations ≥ 70 points, except in the topic of clinical manifestations of alcohol consumption with 53.8% who obtained a score <70. Regarding the ways in which adolescents acquired information on alcoholism, television (92.5%) and family (85%) predominated, respectively.
