Breast cancer in pre and perimenopausal women

ABSTRACT

Although breast cancer is a pathology that has more incidence in older women, there has been an increment in pre and perimenopausal females. Being the most diagnosed cancer among women and the one who has more deaths. The etiology isn‘t completely known, however in this article we reviewed the most important risk factors, as well as the importance of physical exam, complementary images and biopsy for detection and diagnosis. Also the different treatments, individualized according to the patient.
