ABSTRACT

Acute Fatty Liver in Pregnancy is a serious and very rare complication exclusive of pregnancy which leads to acute and potentially fatal liver failure. AFLP is a pathology that requires a diagnosis and diligent treatment in order to avoid maternal and fetal morbidity and mortality, and it is related to the end of pregnancy for its cessation.
