ABSTRACT
Introduction: Injuries in the left coronary artery, are the presenting worse prognosis, because of the extensive infarct to undertake.
Objective: to characterize diagnosed patients with unprotected left coronary artery disease treated by percutaneous coronary interventionism in the CIMEQ between 2014 and 2016.
Method: Longitudinal and prospective observational study in patients with injury ≥ 50% on left coronary artery, diagnosed by coronary angiography. Is studied the entire universe expressed as inclusion criteria and exclusion corresponding 20 patients. Was used descriptive statistics basic.
Results: the average age in patients studied was 68,5 ± 7,4 years, predominantly males (64, 7%). The cardiovascular risk factors higher prevalence were hypertension (60%) and diabetes mellitus (40%). Dyslipidemia and smoking accounted for 35%. In 65% of cases was used the path radial. 70% of patients presented score syntax low. Is complications Peri proceed in 15% of patients and mortality the two years was 5%.
Conclusions: the majority of patients treated corresponded to the male and ages above female. The path radial was more used. The complexity anatomical predominant expressed by the score syntax corresponded to the first tertil. One-third of patients not suffered complications Peri proceed and mortality follow-up to two years was considered low.
