Reproductive trajectories of adolescent women in No. 8 Doctor´s Office, Polyclinic No. 2 of Manzanillo

ABSTRACT
Introduction: the adolescent population is considered of great importance in the study of reproductive trajectories because it is socially instituted as the stage of the life cycle of the beginning of sexual relations.Method: a cross-sectional descriptive study was carried out with the purpose of characterizing the reproductive trajectory of adolescent women of the No. 8 Doctor´s office belonging to the Manzanillo Community Polyclinic No. 2, the universe consisted of 34 adolescents, the statistical system SPSS version 15 was used with tables of contingencies for the crossing of variables and their outputs with statistical measures absolute numbers and hundreds.
Results: the preuniversity degree predominated with 91, 2 %, the previous abortion experience, among them the one with 58, 9 %, while 52, 9 % of the houses were classified as bad, the wage income predominant in the family nucleus was from 400 to 600 Cuban pesos -national currency- with 88, 2 % and the presence of toxic habits in 52, 9 %.
Conclusions: the education of adolescent women and the established sexual reproductive health programs do not correspond to the reproductive trajectory of the young women regarding the number of experiences of induced abortions and the harmful habits that limit the empowerment in the perception of the risks related to your sexual and reproductive health.
