ABSTRACT
Teeth aesthetic is a matter of great concern for the general public. White teeth set beauty´s standards and aesthetic patterns. Teeth color alteration is known by dyschromia which varies in location, severity and external or internal causes. Non vital teeth with dyschromia can be treated with internal bleaching. This is a conservative alternative to other invasive procedures so it preserves teeth structure. In this case report we present a 26 years old patient, with tooth 11 discoloration and bleaching, attended at Stomatological services, at Manuel Fajardo Rivero Policlinic, from Urbano Noris, Holguin, Cuba. Non-vital bleaching technique we used was 100-volume hydrogen peroxide (30%) activated with heat. There are several factors that could affect the effectiveness of non-vital bleaching, such as: patient age, time, degree and etiology of discoloration. All of these can influence the final result and treatment longevity.
