ABSTRACT
Monostotic fibrous dysplasia is a slow progression benign pseudotumoral osteopathy. We present the clinical case of a female patient of nine years, without important data. He comes with a «pellet» on the floor of his mouth, asymptomatic, and sometimes refers to pain. The orthopantomography shows displacement of lower dental organs and radiolucent circular images that resemble a frosted glass pattern. The histopathological study demonstrates swirling, hypercellular fibrous tissue, fibroblasts, xanthomatous macrophages and bone spicules. The patient is currently under observation. A clinical case of unusual occurrence due to its age of presentation is presented and the most important aspects of this entity are considered.
