ABSTRACT
Lupus mastitis is an unusual clinical variant of systemic lupus erythematosus and discoid lupus. Clinically, it occurs more frequently as a subcutaneous mass, single or multiple, uni- or bilateral, accompanied or not of epidermal changes. The histopathology characteristic of this panniculitis is the key piece for the diagnostic confirmation and exclusion of malignant mammary pathology. We present the case of a 62-year-old woman who consulted for an ulcerated right breast lesion.
