ABSTRACT
Pyoderma gangrenosum is a neutrophilic dermatosis; its diagnosis can be a challenge in clinical practice. We describe the clinical and histological characteristics of seven cases of gangrenous disease diagnosed in two hospitals in Medellin, Colombia. The clinical characteristics agree with those described in the literature, and in the biopsy, the extension of the neutrophilic infiltrate for the diagnosis may be useful.
