ABSTRACT
The management of educative software development in order to improve the teaching-learning process, is a substantive procedure implementing curricula in higher education in the Medical and Health Sciences. The objective of this paper is to expose the components of a strategy to improve the management of software development, which was established by means of identifying real problems in the management functions. Observation, survey, as well as modelling, structural and functional methods where used. The universe of study were 180 educational software developers from the medical universities of the country. We work with a stratified probabilistic sample of 86 individuals from this population. Results revealed a transformation of software management development from initial to final stages, expressed in the three dimensions defined indices, demonstrating the efficiency and applicability of the strategy.
