ABSTRACT
Epithelioid angiosarcoma is a malignant neoplasm of highly aggressive endothelial cells. Mostly originated in deep soft tissues, but may occur in other primary sites, including the adrenal glands, thyroid, skin and bone. In diagnosis histopathological findings are very suggestive, but an immunohistochemical study has to be performed to differentiate it from other epithelioid tumors. We present a 91-year-old female patient with diagnosis of epithelioid angiosarcoma with rapid evolution, infrequent localization and fatal outcome.REFERENCES
