ABSTRACT
Dengue es an acute ,infectious disease produce for one of the four serotypes of Flavivirus Dengue (DEN-1, DEN-2, DEN-3 y DEN-4). It‟s spread to the humans trought the bite of the infected female mosquitoes of the Aedes genus. It‟s characterized by high fever (40° C), headache, retro-ocular pain, myalgia and maculr rash.It‟s a major public health issue, given the spread of the vector trough tropics and subtropics more zones have become vulnerable of the disease, speceally in urban or suburban areas. Despite the rising incidence of dengue, since 2010 the mortality rates have been dropping. This drop is attributed to the improvement of the health operators since the use of the medical guidelines from the WHO.REFERENCES
