ABSTRACT
Introduction: the professional way of acting of medical doctors demands the need of developing wide-ranging knowledge about nervous system to solve professional problems. However, the training process for medical doctors shows insufficiencies that have not allowed meeting that need in its historical development. Objective: to design a computer environment to knowledge management of the nervous system in the context of medical students' training at Pinar del Río University of Medical Sciences.
Methods: the dialectical materialist method was used, as well as the basis and integration of methods from the theoretical and empirical levels with the continuous use of the procedures: induction-deduction; analysis-synthesis-concretion-abstraction. Moodle platform was used as the technology that revitalizes the process of knowledge management, the Delphique method allows to corroborate the validity and feasibility of the proposal.
Results: out of the 7 indicators to be evaluated by experts regarding the proposed tool system, 2 were assessed as very adequate and 4 as fairly adequate.
Conclusions: the computer environment designed dynamizes the process of knowledge acquisition management of the nervous system in the context of the medical integration which is provided by the discipline during the basic, basic-clinical and clinical cycles, responding to the development of professional performance and taking into account the integrative role of the discipline.
