ABSTRACT

In Colombia, the place of families has been the place of transits and tensions in society, a scenario through which the transformations of different times have passed, but also a laboratory of the other ways of being and being in reality and through both, a permanent space of symbolic, axiological, political and social dispute. Among the challenges that sexual diversity and families will have to face are: 1) to ensure that these are a support network; 2) children who have a different vision of the world's diversity; 3) do not replicate these types and practices of the model of bourgeois family; 4) the diversity of families within sexual diversity; 5) make the different family formations for the achievement of more inclusive societies visible.
