Elements of education at work for health technology students

ABSTRACT
Introduction: Higher medical education in Cuba experienced different modifications to be adapted to the new circumstances of a new health professional. This created the conceptual foundations of education at work within the teaching- -learning process as an active teaching-learning form.Objective: To identify the elements that influence education at work for health technology students.
Methods: A literature review on the subject in question was carried out. We used several search engines such as Cochrane, MedLine, PubMed, SciELO, and Google academic, using keywords. The publications and articles found were processed and analyzed in depth. A summary was carried out.
Results: Teachers, students, learning resources, and teaching settings were found as elements of the influential education at work in health technology students.
Conclusions: Education at work is a process of academic, revolutionary and scientific excellence, which guarantees a solid and competent training. Its main tool lies in educational work and the formation of values. The elements that influence health technology students (teachers, students, learning resources and teaching settings) were identified.
