ABSTRACT
Ameloblastoma represents the second most common odontogenic tumor. It is characterized by its local aggressiveness, with a very low tendency to metastasize. Your prognosis varies according to the treatment used. We present a retrospective study of the clinical and pathological characteristics of the ameloblastomas treated by the maxillofacial surgery service of the Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Hospital in Bayamo, Granma, Cuba; between 2014 and 2017, as well as an analysis of the factors to be taken into account to define the therapeutic procedure.
