ABSTRACT
Information technology plays an important role in medical care in the 21st century, as it improves the availability and immediacy of information, communication, patient satisfaction and productivity in the health sector. The scope of technology in medical care impacts different perspectives such as costs, quality of service, payment mechanisms, medical records, online training, etcetera. But there are also limitations, which make it necessary to reflect on the value offered both to the patient and the doctor, as well as the cost-benefit.
