ABSTRACT
Individuals with non-heteronormative sexualities face social vulnerability due to a frequent violation of their human rights. Vulnerability is a bioethical principle of the UNESCO Universal Declaration of Bioethics and Human Rights. Vulnerability has been debated mainly on research ethics and has been criticized because of its epistemic ambiguity and the potential discriminatory effect of labeling people or human groups. The protection and intervention ethics allows to identify vulnerable groups from different dimension approaches. It establish moral maximums and minimums for the protection and compensation of those people with non-heteronormative sexualities whose human rights has been denied. This paper analyses the bioethical principle of vulnerability in non-heteronormative sexualities.
