ABSTRACT
Anger, Psychological Well-being and Satisfaction, are some of
the concepts that have been studied separately in recent years,
however, there is little information about the interaction of these
variables. This paper was designed with the intention of
determining these relationships. People who show less anger,
or express it in a healthy way, would be expected to experience
greater satisfaction in the partner relationship, higher levels of
psychological well-being, and vice versa, however, it was
considered necessary to investigate this. The sample consisted
of 60 men and 68 women between the ages of 18 and 60 who
were in a relationship. The instruments were the Anger Scale
(STAXI 2), the Wellness Scale (BIEPS-A), the RAS
(Relationship Assessment Scale) and the Functional Anger
Questionnaire. Results indicated that there is a statistically
significant, moderate and inversely proportional linear
relationship between Functional Anger and the Expression of
Trait Anger; statistically significant, low and directly proportional
linear relationship between Functional Anger and Psychological
Well-Being, between Functional Anger and Relationship
Satisfaction, and between Psychological Well-Being and
Relationship Satisfaction. The relationship between the
Expression of Trait Anger and Psychological Well-being is
linear, statistically significant, low and inversely proportional.
