ABSTRACT
Introduction: the improvement of the educational process requires the creation of teaching strategies in order to improve learning by students who rotate through different services.Objective: to design teaching strategies, learning and evaluation of the rotation by the specialty Periodontics with students of the 5th year of dentistry.
Method: a design study of teaching, learning and evaluation strategies was carried out, in accordance with the new teaching projections for the 21st century.
Results: the designed activities are presented and the daily distribution is specified according to the activities that must be carried out, the didactic supports and the teaching, learning and evaluation teaching strategies.
Conclusions: teaching, learning and evaluation strategies were developed with a constructivist approach for 5th year dentistry students in their periodontal rotation to offer greater meaning to learning as part of a personalized and integral process in the construction of knowledge.
