ABSTRACT
Introduction: The creation of new professional training environments, with the use of different training and education modalities with complex systems of virtual training means enriching the multidimensional character of the culture and the multiple sides of the professional training process, which is why new dynamics are necessary as renovators in professional orientation where hypermedia culture mediates.Objective: To determine the implications of the hypermedia culture in the process of university professional training in the contemporaneity.
Methods: A bibliographic review of the subject is presented, where the main impacts on both students and teachers in undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Conclusions: As a generalized idea, hypermedia culture has an implication in the role of the teacher and the professional under training, imposing new dynamics of action where Information and Communication Technology (ICT) mediates.
