ORTHOPLAY, teaching-learning means for the subject Orthodontics

ABSTRACT
Introduction: orthodontics is the science that deals with the facial and oral morphology in its different stages of growth and development, which is why it is one of the most complex subjects taught in Stomatology.Objectives: to propose a means of teaching to reinforce the learning on the subject of Orthodontics in stomatology students.
Methods: a technological innovation was carried out designing the teaching medium in the José Martí Polyclinic of Santiago de Cuba during the period from February to March 2016. A Pentium D computer was used in the design, selecting the orthodontic subjects taught in the fourth year of Stomatology.
Results: among the main results stood a 100.0% of motivation and acceptance with 4th and 5th year students of the Stomatology career.
Conclusions: it was concluded that the ORTHOPLAY teaching environment can be accessed in a pleasant, quick and easy way to the varied and rich information of the different modules that can be used in the pre and postgraduate of Stomatology.
