ABSTRACT
Parkinson's disease is the second most common neurodegenerative disease in the population after Alzheimer's disease. Cuban population has a tendency to ageing so we can predict that its prevalence will increase in the next decade. Patients with Parkinson's disease show a high predisposition to oral diseases due to their motor impairment, psychological disorders and side effects of the drugs they consume. In this paper we deepen on important aspects to be considered in relation to dental management of Parkinson's patients.
