ABSTRACT
The participation of the growth factors in the regeneration of tissues has progressively increased the use of the platelets to regenerate the epithelium in ocular lesions, like it is the case of the ophthalmic herpes zoster. The case to be exposed is about a 72 year-old diabetic female patient that had neuralgic pain in the right side of the head and face, with dermatological manifestations like heat sensation, hyperesthesia, oedema, vesicles, erythema and maculo-papulars lesions. Conventional treatment more the platelet lysate like regenerative medicine in eyewash for the lesions of the cornea and in direct developments in the skin lesions were applied, being obtained a very satisfactory evolution in short time.
