ABSTRACT
Frequency of squamous penis carcinoma (PC) is less than 1% of the urologic neoplasias and it is observed in men between sixth and seventh decades of life. This Neoplasia has been related to diverse entities like presence of prepuce, bad hygiene and in last years with human papiloma virus. We present the case of a patient with advanced PC, that refused the radical treatment and was treated by means of partial phallectomy, escisional biopsy of inguinal lymphatic node and external irradiation. Surgical treatment of PC consists on complete extirpation with free suitable margins of tumor. The lymphadenectomy is a therapeutic option and constitutes an important factor of prognosis. The high morbidity of lymphadenectomy makes a progressive degree of adjustment and selectivity in its application. The low incidence of the PC makes difficult the extrapolation of the results of treatment; therefore multicentric studies would be a reasonable option.
