ABSTRACT
Myoepithelial neoplasms, both benign and malignant, are very rare clinicopathological entities. Most of them develop in salivary glands, breast and lung tissue. In very isolated cases, patients with cutaneous involvement with eccrine and apocrine glands are present.Cutaneous myoepithelial carcinoma is extremely rare. The literature still consists only of case reports and, consequently, many of its clinical characteristics and treatment strategies remain unknown.
We present the case of a patient with a cutaneous neoformation on the inner side of the left elbow, which through biopsy and immunohistochemistry showed the presence of a cutaneous malignant myoepithelioma, which was resected without complications and given adequate treatment and follow-up.
