ABSTRACT
Appendix cancer is a rare pathological entity, where the
majority of diagnoses are derived from an incidental
finding after appendecto-mies. Due to being little
known, the treatment prevails controversial. Since
2000, there has been an increase in incidence, which
is why it is a pathology of importance for study according
to trends in its behavior.
